The local Women of Note Chorus, an all-women a cappella barbershop harmony comprised of 45 to 50 women from all walks of life, recently took home a second place medal in the Sweet Adelines Region 9 Contest in Daytona.

Not to be outdone, their Attitude Quartet took home a first-place win in the Region 9 Sweet Adelines Quartet competition.

"We feel great about our win," said Director Mitchell Greenberg. "We had a goal and worked hard toward that goal. We knew we would score well," he said, "but not as well as we did — we're thrilled."

"We stuck to what we know and what we do best," he Greenberg. "Obviously, we were able to translate our techniques to the stage, and we're that much closer to our goal of being an A-level chorus."
