Voices of Lee reaching for the ‘Big Time’

The Voices of Lee will be among eight a cappella singing groups competing for a prize of $100,000 and an Epic Records/Sony recording contract on “The Sing-Off” beginning Dec. 14 on NBC. Voices of Lee Director Danny Murray said Monday the vocal ensemble auditioned Sept. 17 in Atlanta during the week of the group’s 15th anniversary celebration. “It was a very, very busy week,” he said. “We didn’t know if we would even be able to audition.”

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., November 23, 2009, Multi-platinum recording artist Nick Lachey is set to host NBC's upcoming a cappella singing competition series, "The Sing-Off," a four night holiday event premiering Monday, December 14 (8-10 p.m. ET). The one-of-a-kind battle of voices will continue on December 15 and 16, culminating in a live finale on December 21 (each night 8-10 p.m. ET).
